BUIES CREEK, N.C. – In a notable achievement for Campbell University men's soccer, midfielders Evans Dapaah and Ethan Roberts, along with forward Marco Wright, have been recognized as part of the United Soccer Coaches' All-Atlantic Region teams. The announcement was made on Tuesday, highlighting the standout performances of these players throughout the season.

Dapaah earned second-team honors, showcasing his pivotal role in the defensive midfield. Starting 18 games this season, he contributed significantly to the team's success by scoring two goals and providing an assist. One of his standout moments came during a match against UNCW, where a stunning volley from outside the box not only netted a goal but also caught national attention, landing a spot on SportsCenter's Top Ten. His exceptional performance throughout the season also earned him a place on the All-CAA First Team.

On the offensive front, Roberts finished as Campbell's leading goalscorer during his senior campaign, netting eight goals and assisting on two others. Remarkably, after starting just six games in his first three seasons, Roberts stepped up this year with 17 starts across 20 matches. His contributions were recognized with a first-team selection on the All-CAA team, as well as being honored as a CSC Academic All-District member, reflecting his achievements both on the field and in the classroom.

Wright, who also made the All-CAA First Team, was the team’s second leading scorer, contributing five goals along with four assists. The Gastonia native played a vital role, starting in 14 out of 19 contests this season. Like Roberts, Wright's dual excellence on and off the field was acknowledged with a place on the CSC Academic All-District team.

The recognition of Dapaah, Roberts, and Wright underscores not only their individual talents but also the growing stature of Campbell University's soccer program. As the Camels look ahead, this trio's accomplishments could serve as a foundation for future successes, elevating the program further in collegiate soccer.
