PARKERSBURG – This week, the Mid-Ohio Valley is buzzing with a variety of engaging events catering to art enthusiasts, families, and individuals looking to learn something new. Whether you're interested in photography, cooking, or simply enjoying story time with your children, there’s something for everyone.
TODAY, art lovers can catch a glimpse of the Photography Exhibit by Michael Mueller at WesBanco on Market Street in Parkersburg. Simultaneously, the Parkersburg Art Center is hosting an art exhibit featuring works by Savannah Schroll Guz and “Rinse and Repeat,” an exhibit by ArtBeat Studio. For those aged 55 and older, the park center offers a unique program titled “Art is Life/Life is Art” from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Later in the day, adults can join a Painting Club at the Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library on Emerson Avenue from 3 to 4 p.m., while kids aged 3-6 can participate in Evening Story Time at the Marietta Public Library from 5 to 6 p.m.
