You Won't Believe Who's Headlining the Allegany County Fair – Find Out Before Tickets Sell Out!
The Allegany County Fair is set to return to its original dates this year, running from July 17th through the 25th. This beloved local event will feature a notable addition to its lineup: three nights dedicated to Christian concerts, an initiative that Fair Manager Kevin Kammauf believes perfectly aligns with the fair's family-oriented mission.
“The age demographic that comes to listen to Christian concerts is basically age four to 80. And of course, the fair is for families anyhow, so it’s just a great night,” Kammauf stated, encapsulating the inclusive spirit of the event.
This year’s concert series will include performances from popular Christian artists. Concert-goers can look forward to Leanna Crawford on Monday, July 20, Ben Fuller on Tuesday, July 21, and Jeremy Camp on Wednesday, July 22. In a bid to make the experience more accessible, Kammauf announced that a special three-concert package ticket will be available for attendees.
The Allegany County Fair has long been a gathering point for families, fostering community ties through entertainment, agriculture, and local culture. By integrating Christian concerts into its schedule, the fair aims to attract a broader audience and resonate with attendees who appreciate faith-based music.
As the fair approaches, it not only marks a return to tradition but also emphasizes the importance of community and togetherness. The addition of these concerts signifies a welcoming space for families to enjoy an evening out, bridging generations with shared experiences. The fair is an opportunity for locals to engage with both their faith and the vibrant culture of their community.
With the mix of rides, booths, and now, live music, the Allegany County Fair remains a true reflection of the values and interests of its attendees. As families prepare for this year's festivities, Kammauf's vision of creating an enriching experience for all seems set to unfold, enhancing the fair's reputation as a cornerstone of the community’s summer activities.
