You Won't Believe the Jaw-Dropping Acts Set to Rock the Bug & Bud Festival — Are You Ready for April 25?

Milford, Delaware, is set to come alive with vibrant celebrations as the annual Bug & Bud Festival approaches on Saturday, April 25. This beloved community event, organized by Downtown Milford Inc., will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Milford, highlighting the town's connection to nature and its state insect, the ladybug.

This year’s festival will feature a packed schedule of performances and activities designed to engage the entire family. According to the newly released “run of show,” the festivities will kick off at 9 a.m. with an opening ceremony led by members of Downtown Milford Inc.’s board at 9:15 a.m. The amphitheater behind the library, near the farmers market, will serve as the backdrop for live entertainment throughout the day.

Morning performances will include the Milford Community Band at 9:30 a.m. and the Delaware Music School at 10 a.m. A lively parade and a hula hoop performance are set for 11 a.m., followed by line dancing and group dancing at noon. The afternoon will bring more excitement with performances by Fuzaholics at 1 p.m., Mad Dappers at 2 p.m., and the dancers from Milford Central Academy at 3 p.m. The event will conclude with closing remarks and giveaways at 4 p.m.

Attendees can also look forward to a designated kids’ area located near the pickleball and basketball courts, where bounce houses, crafts, and even a petting zoo will entertain the younger crowd. Additionally, over 100 vendors and food trucks will be lining the streets, offering a variety of local goods and delicious treats. Portable restrooms will be available throughout the event area, ensuring comfort for all guests.
