In the highly contested Madison’s District 8 alder race, Ellen Zhang decisively defeated Bobby Gronert, garnering nearly 80% of the vote, according to Dane County election data. This substantial win indicates a strong preference among voters for Zhang, who campaigned on a progressive platform.
