This Kazakh AI Startup Is Revolutionizing Trucking—But Is It a Threat to American Jobs? Find Out Now!

ASTANA — In a remarkable expansion, Kazakhstan’s Call2action.ai, part of the Astana Hub international innovation cluster, has successfully onboarded over 30 transportation companies in the United States within just three months. This growing client base includes both commercial entities and pilot projects transitioning to paid models, leading to a combined fleet of more than 2,000 trucks utilizing the platform.
The press service of Astana Hub highlights that Call2action.ai is revolutionizing the trucking industry by automating the driver recruitment process, a critical factor in a sector where filling vacancies swiftly can directly enhance revenue. According to Yersultan Dzhusakinov, the founder and CEO of the company, the need for such a solution in the U.S. became evident through discussions with industry representatives during their participation in the AlchemistX accelerator.
“The U.S. trucking industry is valued at $1.3 trillion, while driver turnover in certain segments exceeds 100% annually. This confirmed that automating the initial hiring stage can deliver direct, measurable impact for carriers,” Dzhusakinov stated. “We received our first commercial demand immediately after launch, when an issued invoice was paid the next day, confirming the relevance of our solution.”
The Call2action.ai platform comprehensively covers the entire hiring cycle, encompassing candidate sourcing, interviews, assessments, and onboarding. A standout feature is the AI recruiter agent, which conducts initial interviews independently, screens candidates against predefined criteria, and forwards the results to human resources teams.
Initial implementations have yielded significant results: companies reported that driver hiring time has been reduced by a factor of three, and HR teams are now saving up to 60%-70% of the time previously spent on manual screening and initial calls. Additionally, candidate conversion rates have improved, as interviews are conducted immediately, allowing companies to make faster decisions and reducing the risk of losing potential hires during waiting periods.
In October 2025, Call2action.ai secured $500,000 in funding, with $200,000 coming from MOST Ventures and the remainder sourced from private U.S. business angels. This financial backing is earmarked for product development, team expansion, and bolstering sales efforts in the U.S. market.
Before targeting the U.S., the team tested their product in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, gathering valuable client feedback. Now, with a clear focus on the U.S. market as a prime growth area for the trucking industry, Call2action.ai plans to enhance its platform functionality for large carriers, expand its commercial client base, strengthen partnerships, and deepen its presence at industry events. Their long-term vision is to establish a global AI platform for high-volume hiring in logistics and related sectors.
