Worcester, MA - The Washington College Men’s Rowing team recently traveled to Massachusetts to participate in the prestigious Donahue Cup Regatta. Over the weekend, the Shoremen faced tough competition from notable institutions including MIT, Williams, WPI, and Conn College, showcasing their skill and determination on the water.

Competition Highlights
The Shoremen kicked off their weekend in the Varsity 8 race, finishing fourth with a time of 6:23.75. They notably outpaced Conn College by five seconds, demonstrating their competitive edge. Later that day, the team also competed in the Varsity Four event, where they once again secured a fourth-place finish, clocking in at 7:53.15.

Day two was marked by further competition in the Varsity 8 category, with the Shoremen concluding the race with a time of 6:36.43. This performance, while not their best, still highlighted the team’s resilience and commitment to improvement.
