The nuggets were produced on February 10, 2026, and have a "best if used by" date of February 10, 2027, with the lot code 0416DPO1215 and establishment number P44164 located on the back of the packaging.

While a product recall was not initiated because these items are no longer in circulation, the FSIS remains concerned that some packages may still be lurking in the freezers of unsuspecting consumers. This alert follows routine surveillance testing that revealed lead levels in these nuggets that were as much as five times higher than the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) established benchmark for lead exposure, which is set at 2.2 micrograms.
