He described communication with the Knicks coaching staff as “difficult,” including interactions with first-year head coach Mike Brown, who has expressed the need for patience with Yabusele. With December 15 marking a crucial date on the NBA calendar when players who signed contracts this offseason become eligible for trades, Yabusele's situation could soon change. Despite the challenges, he remains committed to turning things around and is determined to contribute wherever possible. "I try to be ready whenever my name is called," he mentioned. "I try to control my impact on the court, no matter how much time I get."

As trade rumors begin to swirl around New York, Yabusele’s performance will be under scrutiny. The Knicks find themselves in need of assistance in the frontcourt, particularly at the power forward position.
