Kaitlan Collins' SHOCKING comeback to Trump's 'stupid and nasty' jab will leave you speechless!

CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins recently found herself in the crosshairs of former President Donald Trump’s social media criticism. In a post shared on his platform, Truth Social, Trump targeted Collins, misspelling her name and referencing her as “Caitlin Collin’s of Fake News CNN, always Stupid and Nasty.” This outburst reportedly stemmed from Collins asking about the construction costs for the White House ballroom, a project that has seen its budget grow significantly over time.

Trump’s response included details about the ballroom's development, asserting, “I said because it is going to be double the size, and the quality of finishes and interiors has been brought to the highest level. Also, the column SPAN has been substantially increased for purposes of viewing.” He insisted the project is “under budget and ahead of schedule, as my jobs always are,” while stressing that no taxpayer dollars are being used, as it is funded entirely by private donations.

According to a July announcement from the White House, the ballroom is estimated to cost $200 million, but Trump later claimed the figure had increased to $300 million. By late October, a White House spokesperson raised the estimated cost to $350 million, as reported by ABC News. Collins contends that her initial question about the ballroom was misinterpreted, clarifying that her inquiry was actually focused on U.S. actions in Venezuela, specifically the bombing of alleged drug smuggling vessels off the coast of the country.

During a segment on her program, "The Source with Kaitlan Collins," she pointed out that Trump had previously dismissed her questions, recalling a January instance when he labeled her inquiry as “not a very smart question.” In March, he referred to her as a “third rate, low ratings reporter,” according to The Daily Beast. Such attacks are not uncommon; Trump has recently faced backlash for derogatory remarks directed at other journalists as well.

In November, he lashed out against a New York Times reporter over an article that claimed he was exhibiting “signs of fatigue,” calling her “ugly, both inside and out.” Days earlier, during a conversation on Air Force One, Trump insulted Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey after she asked about any incriminating information related to the Epstein files, telling her to “quiet, quiet piggy.”

As the controversy surrounding the ballroom continues, Collins also noted on her show that Trump had dismissed the architect overseeing the project. This highlights the ongoing tension between the former president and the media, particularly with those who question his administration's spending and decisions.

With the ballroom project now under scrutiny, the question remains: how will this impact public perception of the former president amid ongoing discussions about government spending and transparency? As the narrative unfolds, it is clear that the relationship between Trump and certain members of the press will continue to be contentious, reflecting broader tensions in American media and politics.
