Is Your Wellness Routine a Lie? Discover the Shocking ECG Tech That Reveals the Truth!

At 50, while many are settling into their retirement plans, Deepak Ambudkar made a bold decision to leave a lucrative job and embark on a new venture: creating Energeiaa, a company focused on quantifying wellness and clearly guiding individuals toward healthier living. This move comes in a post-pandemic world where the concept of wellness has gained unprecedented attention.

Ambudkar, a mechanical engineer with decades of experience as a supply chain head, began questioning how wellness could be measured, much like illness is diagnosed through advanced medical technology. “Post Covid, ‘wellness’ became a byword that was on everyone’s lips. But how do we measure it? How do we know if we are ‘well’?” he pondered. His inquiry reflects a gap in our understanding of health, which often focuses solely on physical illness while neglecting emotional and mental well-being.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines wellness as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Recognizing the significance of this definition, Ambudkar advocates for the early detection of stress and emotional imbalances before they escalate into serious health issues. “I believe that wellness should be measurable before illness appears,” he stated. “If stress, emotional overload, and functional imbalances can be detected early, timely corrective actions can prevent long-term health issues.”

With this vision, Ambudkar launched Energeiaa in 2022, aiming to assist people in understanding their wellness status before they fall ill. The company operates on the premise that the human body emits subtle energy signals that reflect its internal state. This approach draws parallels to his former supply chain management experience, viewing the body as a warehouse where the organs are sections of inventory and energy levels indicate stock status.

To innovate, Ambudkar collaborated with professionals across various sectors, discovering that high-performing individuals often silently suffer from stress and imbalance. This led to the development of a specialized, non-invasive device created by a Russian company, which uses a specialized camera to capture fingertip energy patterns in just minutes. Advanced algorithms analyze these patterns and translate them into user-friendly wellness indicators covering physical, mental, and emotional health.

“In simple terms, Energeiaa functions like a wellness ECG—a quick scan that provides deep insights without pain, blood tests, or lengthy procedures,” Ambudkar explained. To date, the company has conducted over 2,000 wellness assessments, validating their approach through meaningful data patterns. However, Ambudkar emphasizes that Energeiaa is not a diagnostic tool but a preventive measure. Out of the 2,000 assessments, 1,000 were confirmed by pathological tests, with 400 findings aligning with Energeiaa's readings. The remaining subjects later reported symptoms that echoed their initial wellness assessments.

The device captures micro energy signals that reflect stress, emotional balance, and organ-level functionality. The output provides scores in physical, mental, and emotional wellness, along with personalized improvement recommendations. “Our holistic service has shown clear pattern correlations between energy parameters and lifestyle stressors,” Ambudkar said, emphasizing that this technology offers a quantifiable approach to wellness.

Anecdotal evidence further supports the company’s impact. Ambudkar shared a story of a friend who initially dismissed the need for a wellness assessment. After the evaluation indicated potential issues with his jaw, he later called Ambudkar to report discomfort in the same area, illustrating how Energeiaa’s assessments can reveal underlying health concerns well before they manifest.

Since its inception, Energeiaa has been primarily funded through Ambudkar’s personal investment of ₹14 lakh (approximately $17,000), with current revenue around ₹1.5 lakh per month. He aims to raise ₹2 crore (about $245,000) to develop a next-gen system that will facilitate remote wellness assessments, expanding their reach to more clients. Currently, assessments are conducted at their office in Pimpri, Pune, but home services are available for senior citizens and group evaluations for organizations.

The global wellness industry is booming, valued in the trillions, with preventive and corporate wellness gaining traction, especially in the aftermath of the pandemic. In India, this market is rapidly expanding as individuals and organizations seek measurable health solutions. While international competitors focus on wearables and applications, and local players emphasize yoga and nutrition, Energeiaa aims to distinguish itself by providing holistic wellness intelligence that integrates physical, mental, and emotional dimensions.

Looking ahead, Ambudkar’s ambitions include developing remote assessment capabilities and enhancing their AI technology. He envisions a future where Energeiaa will extend its footprint across various cities, foster institutional partnerships, and engage with corporate and educational sectors. “The journey may be long, but with passion and determination, it can certainly be navigated successfully,” he concluded.
