The signed agreement under the **India–UK Collaborative R&D Programme** will see **Scharge** develop an EV charger charge controller featuring a patented automated cable management system from **Albright Product Design Limited**. This innovative system is designed with the goal of enhancing efficiency, safety, and usability in high-demand charging environments, which are increasingly critical as the adoption of EVs grows.
Central to this development is a motorized overhead cable management setup tailored for fleet applications. This design not only reduces manual handling but also limits cable wear and enhances ease of use. According to the official statement, this system is compatible with existing AC Type-2 chargers, and it is expected to significantly improve turnaround times while maintaining organized depot operations.
