Redefining Smartphone Interaction

The HONOR Robot Phone, described as a “new species” of smartphone, aims to transcend the limitations of static screens and voice commands. With robot-grade motion control combined with AI-powered imaging and multimodal perception, it sets a new standard for smartphone interaction.

This unique device features a self-developed micro motor and an ultra-compact 4DoF gimbal system, providing a dynamic experience characterized by embodied AI interaction. Users can make all-angle AI video calls, with the phone physically following them and responding with expressive gestures such as nodding, head movements, and even “dancing” to music.

The Robot Phone is designed for cinematic storytelling, boasting a remarkable 200MP sensor at the heart of its stabilized gimbal camera system. It offers three-axis stabilization, Super Steady Video mode, and AI Object Tracking features. Additionally, the AI SpinShot allows for dynamic 90° and 180° rotations, demonstrating how embodied intelligence could redefine smartphone interaction in the AI era.

While the Robot Phone showcases the future of mobile technology, the HONOR Magic V6 sets a new benchmark for current foldable smartphones. This device boasts reinforced structural integrity, measuring just 8.75mm when folded, and has achieved impressive IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.

The Magic V6 also incorporates advanced hinge architecture and features fifth-generation silicon-carbon battery technology, developed in partnership with ATL. This innovation achieves 25% silicon content and houses a robust 6,660mAh battery within an ultra-thin form factor. HONOR also highlighted its next-generation Silicon-carbon Blade Battery technology, which includes 32% silicon content and a remarkable energy density of over 900 Wh/L, pushing foldable devices closer to the 7,000mAh era.

Equipped with dual LTPO 2.0 displays, the Magic V6 features a 6.52-inch outer screen and a 7.95-inch inner display, both supporting adaptive refresh rates from 1 to 120Hz and peak brightness levels of up to 6,000 nits and 5,000 nits, respectively, for HDR content. The inner panel employs ultra-thin flexible glass, certified by SGS for minimized crease depth, representing a 44% reduction compared to its predecessor.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, complemented by advanced vapor chamber cooling, the Magic V6 positions itself as an AI-ready foldable device optimized for gaming, multitasking, and productivity.

Extending the AI Ecosystem

In addition to smartphones, HONOR is expanding its AI-powered ecosystem with the introduction of the MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14. The MagicPad 4 showcases a 12.3-inch 3K OLED display, with a 165Hz refresh rate, all housed in a remarkably slim 4.8mm body. It operates on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform and offers AI-enhanced multitasking and cross-device collaboration, including compatibility with Apple’s ecosystem.

The MagicBook Pro 14, driven by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, features a 14.6-inch OLED display, intelligent performance management, and long battery life—all in a lightweight chassis.

As HONOR prepares to roll out the Magic V6 in select markets in the second half of the year, the company has yet to announce details regarding pricing and availability in specific regions. However, the unveiling of these innovative products illustrates HONOR’s commitment to leading the charge in the AI and robotics sectors, promising a transformative future for consumer technology.
