Bexar County's Shocking Voter Registration Crisis: What They Won't Tell You!

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – In a significant update for voters in Bexar County, the backlog of pending voter registration applications, which once reached a peak of 7,000, has been completely cleared as of Tuesday morning. Michele Carew, the Elections Administrator for Bexar County, confirmed this development and reassured the community regarding the upcoming elections.
The county elections department attributed the swift resolution of the backlog to the efforts of additional temporary staff members who were brought in to process the applications. This proactive measure follows a much larger backlog of over 75,000 voter registration applications that occurred in October of the previous year, which was also cleared in a matter of weeks.
“I want to reassure our community that we’re going through our final checklists, and I am confident that we are going to have a smoothly run election,”
Carew stated, emphasizing the county's commitment to ensuring that the electoral process is efficient and reliable.
Voters are urged to register as soon as possible to make sure their applications are processed in time for the upcoming primary elections. The county's Elections Department has made it clear that timely registration is crucial for participation in the electoral process.
