You Won’t Believe What Holiday Magic Is Transforming Indianapolis’ Factory Arts District This Weekend!

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Factory Arts District in Indianapolis is set to launch its inaugural All Decked Out Market, a festive holiday celebration that will showcase over 40 vendors and 120 artists. The event kicks off tomorrow and coincides with December’s First Friday Art Tour, a monthly tradition that highlights local creativity.

Organized by Larry Jones, President of Teagan Development, and Ashley Simons, Director of Events at the Factory Arts District, the market aims to foster community connections through a vibrant atmosphere featuring live music, seasonal cocktails, and the opportunity for families to take photos with Santa Claus.

“The All Decked Out Market is our first-ever holiday celebration,” said Larry Jones. “It’s all inspired by our mission to create meaningful connections between artists, makers, and the community.”

The Factory Arts District is a remarkable revitalization of a former factory campus, encompassing two buildings: Factory Arts North and Factory Arts South. Factory Arts North is home to offices, studios for 125 artists, and various businesses, making it Indianapolis’s largest community of working artists. Meanwhile, Factory Arts South is currently under construction but already features local businesses like Salt and Ash, MVMT House, and Daisy Bar. A new events space, The Windward Hall, is anticipated to open in Summer 2026 and will offer over 4,000 sq. ft. for celebrations and gatherings.

At the All Decked Out Market, attendees can expect a variety of unique handmade and locally crafted items. Featured vendors will include Bebito Toys, leather goods from 1979 Co, jewelry by Nancy Lee Designs, and exquisite glass art from Glass Arts Indy. The event will also highlight live performances from local artists like Care 4 Creatives and the One Piece Art Show in the Schwitzer Gallery, enhancing the festive mood.

Ashley Simons emphasized the diversity of the offerings, stating, “We will have over 40 vendors in the south building and over 100 artists in the north building. Perfect place to buy your Christmas gifts made locally.”

The All Decked Out Market is designed to be an engaging event, celebrating local artistry and community spirit. With free entry and parking available, the festivities will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

This market reflects a growing trend in the U.S. where communities are prioritizing local arts and crafts, especially during the holiday season. Events like this not only support local artisans but also promote a sense of community connection at a time when many are looking for meaningful interactions. As more cities embrace such initiatives, the All Decked Out Market represents a significant step forward for the Indianapolis arts scene, encouraging residents to shop local and celebrate creativity.

As the Factory Arts District continues to grow, events like the All Decked Out Market are set to become staples in the local calendar, making art and community accessible to all. Be sure to mark your calendars and support local talent this holiday season.
