16 Bobcats Make History on Women’s Soccer Academic All-MAC Team—What They Achieved Will Shock You!

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) recently announced that a remarkable total of 138 women's soccer student-athletes have been recognized on the 2025 Women's Soccer Academic All-MAC Team. Among this distinguished group, Ohio University has emerged as a leader, boasting 16 student-athletes who received Academic All-MAC Honors, the highest number in the conference.
The Academic All-MAC accolade is a prestigious recognition awarded to student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in both academics and athletics. To qualify for this honor, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 and must have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for their sport. It's important to note that first-year students and transfer students are not eligible for this recognition.
