A new clothing and lifestyle shop, Animal Tenby, officially opened its doors on Thursday, November 27, taking over the site of a former café located in Tudor Square, Pembrokeshire. This vibrant location has been home to several cafés over the years, including well-known establishments like Oakley's, Caffi Llyw, and most recently, Henry’s.

The newly renovated store represents a significant shift for the former café site, which has been transformed into a vibrant retail space. According to store manager Hannah Haigh-Neal, the Animal branding has been in place for about two weeks, setting the stage for the store's grand opening.

“We really look forward to showcasing our new store and welcoming customers in,” Haigh-Neal expressed, highlighting her excitement about the opportunity to engage with the community. The store currently employs four local staff members, with plans to possibly recruit more during the busy summer season.

As part of the Mountain Group, which also encompasses Mountain Warehouse and Eastern Mountain Sports, the Tenby store is the tenth stand-alone Animal store in the UK. Animal's reputation is built on its commitment to creating high-quality, sustainable outdoor wear. The new store will feature a wide range of products, including ski gear, beachwear, and clothing for kids, women, and men.

“Animal stock has been featured in numerous Mountain Warehouse stores for some time and is now growing into its own brand in stand-alone stores,” Haigh-Neal explained, emphasizing the brand’s evolution and its dedication to outdoor adventure. “Animal is a brand that lives and breathes adventure. Inspired by our coastal roots, we create gear designed for those who love to surf, ride, and explore the outdoors.”

The timing of the store's opening coincides with Black Friday promotions, allowing new customers to take advantage of existing deals while exploring the fresh offerings at the Tenby location.
