Will Your Vote Matter? 2026 Primary Election Forums Expose Shocking Candidate Secrets!

As Texas gears up for the 2026 primary elections, the Fort Worth community is invited to engage with candidates during two important forums. Scheduled for February 11 and 12, these events are designed to provide voters with valuable insights into the candidates vying for pivotal positions in local and state government.

The forums are organized by the Fort Worth Report, SteerFW, and the League of Women Voters, reputable organizations committed to fostering informed voting. On February 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the focus will be on the Republican primary races, which include key positions such as:

  • Tarrant County Commissioner, Precinct 2
  • Texas State Representative, District 91
  • Texas State Representative, District 98
  • Texas State Representative, District 94

The following evening, February 12, will feature the Democratic candidates from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., also held at the Texas Wesleyan University-Baker Building, located at 3021 E Rosedale St., Fort Worth, TX 76105. Candidates in this forum will include:

  • Tarrant County Commissioner, Precinct 2
  • Tarrant County Commissioner, Precinct 4
  • Texas State Representative, District 97
  • Texas State Representative, District 98
  • U.S. Representative, District 12

Both forums are open to the public, but attendees should note that while all candidates are welcome, they are prohibited from distributing campaign materials within the venue. This restriction aims to foster a focused and respectful debate environment.

Free parking will be available in Lot E behind the Baker Building, making it accessible for all interested participants. For those unable to attend in person, the forums will be livestreamed, ensuring that voters can still engage with the content from the comfort of their homes. The livestream can be accessed at https://www.youtube.com/@FortWorthReport/streams.

These candidate forums present a unique opportunity for voters to hear directly from those who want to represent them in key governmental roles. As the date approaches, residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and prepare to participate actively in the democratic process.
