Notably, ECU Health introduced pediatric robotic surgery and telecardiology services in Edenton, as well as the first Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation program in the region. The Pediatric Asthma Program expanded its reach into rural schools, addressing a critical health issue that affects numerous families. Additionally, the IMPACT Clinic was opened to provide specialized care for perinatal substance use, reinforcing ECU Health's focus on compassionate care.
