You Won't Believe What Elite DNA Just Did for 300 Local Kids—Shocking Toy Donation Exposed!

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Elite DNA Behavioral Health successfully collected over 300 new and unwrapped toys for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida as part of their annual Christmas toy drive. This initiative, which spanned 11 Elite DNA offices from Bradenton to Naples, aimed to encourage community support for local children facing adversity.
The generous collection included a variety of items that are sure to bring joy to many children this holiday season. Among the donations were Barbie dolls, coloring books, stuffed animals, action figures, games, Play-Doh, Legos, Hot Wheels, bicycles, and even a guitar. This diverse assortment reflects the wide range of interests and preferences among children, ensuring that many will find gifts that resonate with them.
“We are so thankful for Elite DNA Behavioral Health and the many community members who made this toy drive such a success,” said Alicia Shannon, CEO of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida. “This toy drive reflects a shared commitment to protecting children, supporting healing, and strengthening families across Southwest Florida.”
The Children’s Advocacy Center plays a crucial role in addressing the needs of child victims of abuse and neglect. Their mission focuses on providing a coordinated response to these victims while striving to improve the lives of at-risk children and their families through various prevention services. This is particularly vital in a region where many families face socioeconomic challenges that can lead to increased vulnerability.
“We continue to be endlessly grateful to our communities, partners, patients, families, employees, and every community member who gives us the opportunity to uplift local families and support local agencies, including our wonderful partners at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida,” said Elizabeth Dosoretz, LCSW, founder and CEO of Elite DNA Behavioral Health. “As we look ahead to 2026, it is always an unbelievable privilege for the Elite DNA team to work together to support families and stay focused on our mission to create access to equitable behavioral health care for all the communities we serve.”
Founded in 2013, by Dosoretz, who is a licensed clinical social worker and mother of three, Elite DNA Behavioral Health has grown to become one of the largest mental health providers in the region. It now offers both in-person and virtual behavioral health services through nearly 40 locations across Florida and Virginia. Their services range from psychiatry and psychology to medication management, substance use treatment, TMS therapy for depression, occupational therapy, speech therapy, applied behavior analysis, and targeted case management services.
Elite DNA also aims to make mental health care accessible to a broad audience by accepting a variety of insurances, including Medicaid/Medicare, and providing a self-pay sliding scale for established patients. This focus on accessibility is crucial, especially as mental health has become an increasingly important topic in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the holiday season approaches, community efforts like this toy drive not only bring joy to children but also highlight the importance of supporting local organizations that are dedicated to the welfare of families in need. Such initiatives foster a sense of solidarity and encourage individuals and businesses alike to contribute to the well-being of their communities.
