$15M Entertainment Center in Fenton: Why Some Locals Are Furious About Its Opening!

This weekend, Fenton, Missouri, is set to welcome a new entertainment hub that promises to elevate family fun and social gatherings in the community. The $15 million complex, known as WOW! Entertainment, will officially open its doors from February 27 to March 1 at 138 Fiedler Lane, conveniently located just off Highway 141. Covering a sprawling 26,875 square feet, this venue aims to be a year-round destination for both locals and visitors alike, offering a variety of engaging activities, delicious food, and a vibrant atmosphere.

The grand opening will feature extended hours, with the venue open from 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Guests can look forward to family-friendly activities, food and drink specials, and exciting giveaways throughout the weekend. “We’re proud to bring WOW! Entertainment to the Fenton community as a place where people can come together and spend meaningful time with one another,” said Tommy Fernandez, director of operations.

This extensive entertainment complex will house a remarkable array of attractions, including an 18-hole mountain-style miniature golf course, eight lanes of duckpin bowling, four Topgolf Swing Suite simulators, a virtual reality arena, polysynthetic ice curling, and four private karaoke lounges. Multiple event spaces and three outdoor patios—one of which offers a stunning view of the golf course from a mezzanine level—further establish WOW! as a premier gathering location.

According to Jill Metherd, director of sales and marketing, the aim is to cater to a diverse range of community needs. “WOW! Entertainment is a great addition to Fenton and the greater St. Louis area because it creates a place for families, friends, and co-workers to gather year-round for fun shared experiences,” she noted. With a focus on customer service and a variety of attractions, the venue seeks to set itself apart from other entertainment options in the region.

Alongside entertainment, the food and beverage offerings at WOW! are designed to complement the fun. The venue features a scratch kitchen serving up elevated classics and gourmet dishes, including menu highlights like a warm Bavarian pretzel grazing board, buttermilk fried chicken tenders, Ozark Mountain chili, a hot and spicy smash burger, and steak poutine. Additionally, the sports bar will have 75 televisions for game-day viewing, ensuring guests don’t miss any action.

To celebrate its opening, WOW! will also introduce a limited-time promotion: guests who sign up for the venue's e-club on-site will have the chance to win a bowling party for eight, along with other prizes such as attraction vouchers and complimentary appetizers. Even beyond the grand opening, the new venture aims to support the community through its “Grand Opening Month of Giving.” A portion of sales each Sunday will be donated to local nonprofits, including the St. Louis Area Foodbank, Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, First Tee – Greater St. Louis, and the St. Louis Sports Commission.

Entertainment will maintain regular hours of operation from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
